Happy New Year! One of the things we always look forward in the cold Chicago winters is the annual return of Cider Summit Chicago.

The 6th Anniversary Cider Summit Chicago is scheduled for Saturday, February 17, 2017, in two sessions – 11am-3pm & 4pm-8pm, at the at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. The strictly 21 & over event, co-founded by Alan Shapiro, celebrates local, regional and international artisanal ciders and cidermakers.

Cider Summit CHI will showcase nearly 200 ciders, meads, and cider cocktails including regional favorites and international classics. This event is great for seasoned and novice cider drinkers as there is something to please every pallet and we always discover something new. This year also allows the attendees to select the winner of several specially created cocktails for the Oaked Cider Challenged, presented by Enartis. The Cider Cocktail Lounge, presented by Woodford Reserve, and Cider Summit cider collaboration with Tieton Cider Works will return to Chicago. 

All event tickets will be sold online in advance via the event website – CiderSummit.com.

A limited number of VIP tickets for each session are available for $40 and will increase to $45 as of January 15. VIP tickets include express entry to the event, a souvenir tasting glass, 18 tasting tickets, and a $2 donation to Heartland Alliance.

General admission advance purchase tickets are available for $30. Beginning January 15, general admission tickets will be $35. General admission tickets include a souvenir tasting glass, 15 tasting tickets, and a $1 donation to Heartland Alliance.
